They took his feeding tube out, as long as he eats all 55ml at eat feeding, he won't have to get it put back in. He still has his oxygen, we arent sure how long he will need that in or if he will go home on it. They did a swallow test yesterday and he failed with normal formula, so we are adding Simply Thick to his formula for atleast 2-3 months. We are taking him home this weekend. :D
I will be 39 weeks. Im hoping I recover fast like I did with Kaylee, so I only have to stay in the hospital for 2 days instead of 3 or 4. Kaylee will be staying with my mom for however long I am in the hospital. Can't wait to meet our baby boy! <3
failed his NST as usual, but passed his bio physical profile. They
didn't check for any dialation, but I doubt Im dialated any. If he isn't

about a 50/50 chance or less of having a successful VBAC, because he
will probably be bigger than my daughter and I only dialated to a 3 with
her. Either way, my baby boy will be here within 12 days. We had the fetal echo last week. Jordan still has the hole in his heart, but they also found he has a coarctation of the aorta, or a narrowing, and he will need surgery a few days after birth to fix it. He will have to be flown to Denver to get the surgery, which is an hour and a half drive from us, and we don't even have plates on our car yet. It makes me sad that I won't be able to stay there with him while he is there but hopefully he won't be there for too long. I had another growth ultrasound today, they said he is 4 pounds 11 ounces and in the 16th percentile. He is gonna be a small baby. He failed is NST (non stress test) so I have to go back tomorrow to redo it. Hopefully he will cooperate tomorrow.
Jordan did good and moved alot. He is still head down. I gained another 5 pounds, putting me at 38 total so far. I signed my papers for VBAC. The DR. said if he isnt here by 39 weeks, they will induce me, possibly earlier if my blood sugars don't go down. I have 2 appointments a week from now until he is born. :/ 10 more before June. The next ultrasound to check his heart is May 2nd, Im hoping the hole is gone or atleast smaller.
I am 29 weeks 4 days today. Jordan is still doing great, as active as ever. He gets hiccups alot. I think he is still transverse/breech because the kicks are mostly still low. I have another ultrasound on April 12th I think. And around 34 weeks I will have one to check on his heart again. I've gained 31 pounds total so far. Everyone keeps saying they think he is going to be a big baby, but I think he will be smaller (less than 7 1/2 pounds). He could be here within 7 weeks 3 days-10 weeks 3 days, which really isnt that long. Not much else to update on.
The specialist said Jordan has a 2mm hole in his heart. He said 2mm is small-medium, so it should close on its own before or shortly after birth, so he shouldn't need surgery to fix it. Other than that he is doing great. He kicks and moves all the time now, he is still breech but has alot of time to turn still. (: I am 26 weeks 3 days today and have gained a total of 31 pounds so far. :/
Only gained .4 pound from last time 2 weeks ago, that makes 24 total so far. Seems like alot compared to Kaylee. I had gained like 10 with her at this point. I just hope he isnt too big. His heartbeat was 143 today, I think he was sleeping. The doctor adjusted my night time insulin a bit. I have another appointment in a week to see if my blood sugars are doing better then. Its hard to believe he will be here in 13-16 weeks. Going by so fast now!
They said Jordan looks good. (: They couldnt get a good look at the heart so I have another ultrasound at 22 weeks so he will be bigger and they can get a better look. He's getting pretty big. She said he is 9 ounces and his heart beat was 184bpm. I got alot of pictures yesterday, and she confirmed he is a boy. Now I really want to go baby shopping! Im going to pick a really cute outfit for him to go home in, probably a shirt with shorts, sock, and mittens.
I was starting to not like the first name. I really love the name Jordan Cade, so we won't be changing it anymore. Now I just need an embroidery set and a diaper bag so I can put his name on it. (: I am 17 weeks 1 day today. Last night I felt Jordan kicking for the first time! I felt it about 5 times in 30 minutes. They were really tiny kicks but I felt them! Ive been feeling a few this morning as well. I love feeling baby kick, its exciting!Kelsieyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12190311159339659936noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2581940759272658998.post-15491910901597569172012-01-09T12:14:00.000-07:002012-01-09T12:14:54.272-07:00Just an update.<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I have an EKG appointment today. They just want to check my heart since I have diabetes I guess. I also have to make an eye appointment. Declan is doing good, still haven't felt him kick yet, hopefully soon though! Theyve been giving me appointments every 2 weeks instead of weekly, since my blood sugars have been good and they havent had to adjust my insulin. Hopefully it stays like that until atleast 30 weeks along. I have my anatomy scan/ultrasound on the 17th, Ill be 18 weeks.
Got some robitussin, hopefully that will help. I dont want to be sick on Christmas Eve! 12 more days until we find out the baby's sex. I'm so excited. I really want a boy, because there aren't any in my family, other than my brother, but I think Kaylee would love a sister, I loved growing up with a sister close to my age. As long as the baby is healthy, I am happy.
Today I had an appointment, heart rate was 179bpm. They cancelled the ultrasound that was scheduled for today, and they cancelled my next appointment because my blood sugars are doing good, so we scheduled our 3D ultrasound for January 3rd, Ill be 16 weeks. Im so excited, these 15 days need to go fast! (: I also have a stomach bug right now, I don't feel like eating anything but soup. :/ Atleast Im keeping everything I do eat down, baby needs nutrients! Everything is still going great. Baby's heart rate was 162 on Monday. I was getting scared because it took her a while to find it. Baby was very low right by my hip bone. (: 2 or 3 more weeks until we find out the sex, Im so excited! Also can't wait to go baby shopping, I love buying baby stuff, especially clothes. Not much else new right now. Have another appointment today, just a regular OB visit. Monday, 12/19, I have another ultrasound. My mom is going with to that one since Cory will be in school. I think she will like seeing the baby. (:
I was the nuchal (first trimester) screening/ultrasound. She said the baby's ultrasound measurements were good, don't know the results from the blood test yet. They canceled my Wednesday appointment though, which is good because it's freezing. Only 10 degrees today. Baby measured a day ahead, 12 weeks. I compared the 9 weeks 4 day ultrasound and the 11 week 6 day one, and the baby got alot bigger! (: Everything is doing good with the diabetes as well.Kelsieyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12190311159339659936noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2581940759272658998.post-36440448490241257992011-11-30T12:50:00.001-07:002011-11-30T12:54:46.313-07:00Had an OB appointment today. So I had another OB appointment today. I have them once a week, because of the diabetes. I also have atleast 8 more ultrasounds before I deliver, which is a good thing. It'll be cool to see the baby growing at different stages. I can tell a difference in size from the first 2 ultrasounds, and the baby flipped and is now facing the opposite way. They changed the doses of insulin I give myself, they said it will probably change very often. Baby's heartbeat was 170 today, he/she wasn't as active as last time. Im hoping they might be able to tell the sex on my 15 week ultrasound, December 27th. (: Kelsieyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12190311159339659936noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2581940759272658998.post-82430673289310542972011-11-29T13:34:00.000-07:002011-11-29T13:35:03.408-07:0011 weeks today.Im 11 weeks along today, that means baby is the size of a lime this week. He/she is getting so big! (: 5 more weeks until we get our 3D ultrasound to find out the baby's sex. I still have a feeling it's a boy, but we shall see. I have a first trimester screening tomorrow, blood test/ultrasound. Im hoping the baby will be measuring correctly this time. The doctor finally called the pharmacy about my test strips, so today I start recording my blood sugars for my appointments. I still think once a week is too often.
