37 weeks 2 days.

Jordan failed his NST as usual, but passed his bio physical profile. They didn't check for any dialation, but I doubt Im dialated any. If he isn't here by 39 weeks they will induce due to my diabates. He said I have about a 50/50 chance or less of having a successful VBAC, because he will probably be bigger than my daughter and I only dialated to a 3 with her. Either way, my baby boy will be here within 12 days. (:

34+2 days.

Alot has happened. We had the fetal echo last week. Jordan still has the hole in his heart, but they also found he has a coarctation of the aorta, or a narrowing, and he will need surgery a few days after birth to fix it. He will have to be flown to Denver to get the surgery, which is an hour and a half drive from us, and we don't even have plates on our car yet. It makes me sad that I won't be able to stay there with him while he is there but hopefully he won't be there for too long. I had another growth ultrasound today, they said he is 4 pounds 11 ounces and in the 16th percentile. He is gonna be a small baby. He failed is NST (non stress test) so I have to go back tomorrow to redo it. Hopefully he will cooperate tomorrow.

32+2 appointment.

I had my first NST (non-stress test) today. Jordan did good and moved alot. He is still head down. I gained another 5 pounds, putting me at 38 total so far. I signed my papers for VBAC. The DR. said if he isnt here by 39 weeks, they will induce me, possibly earlier if my blood sugars don't go down. I have 2 appointments a week from now until he is born. :/ 10 more before June. The next ultrasound to check his heart is May 2nd, Im hoping the hole is gone or atleast smaller.

30 weeks appointment.

Jordan is measuring 28-29 weeks, 22nd percentile. He weighs about 2 pounds 13 ounces. I think he is gonna be a small baby. He is head down, he had his feet on his head so he couldnt get good pics. My blood pressure was a little high, 118/90 and I had trace protein in my urine so I have to do a 24 hour urine collection.

Update.

Thought I should update since I haven't in a few weeks. I am 29 weeks 4 days today. Jordan is still doing great, as active as ever. He gets hiccups alot. I think he is still transverse/breech because the kicks are mostly still low. I have another ultrasound on April 12th I think. And around 34 weeks I will have one to check on his heart again. I've gained 31 pounds total so far. Everyone keeps saying they think he is going to be a big baby, but I think he will be smaller (less than 7 1/2 pounds). He could be here within 7 weeks 3 days-10 weeks 3 days, which really isnt that long. Not much else to update on.

 

Fetal echo.

I had a fetal echo ultrasound on Wednesday. The specialist said Jordan has a 2mm hole in his heart. He said 2mm is small-medium, so it should close on its own before or shortly after birth, so he shouldn't need surgery to fix it. Other than that he is doing great. He kicks and moves all the time now, he is still breech but has alot of time to turn still. (: I am 26 weeks 3 days today and have gained a total of 31 pounds so far. :/

 

24 week checkup.

I had another prenatal appointment today. Only gained .4 pound from last time 2 weeks ago, that makes 24 total so far. Seems like alot compared to Kaylee. I had gained like 10 with her at this point. I just hope he isnt too big. His heartbeat was 143 today, I think he was sleeping. The doctor adjusted my night time insulin a bit. I have another appointment in a week to see if my blood sugars are doing better then. Its hard to believe he will be here in 13-16 weeks. Going by so fast now!
