19 weeks.

I am 19 weeks today. Jordan's heartbeat was 160 today. I don't have another appointment until February 16th, which is an ultrasound to check his growth. I felt him kick from the outside the first time last night! (: It was exciting. He kicks ALOT more than Kaylee did, hopefully he isnt a hyper baby.

Anatomy Scan.

I had my 18 week anatomy scan yesterday. They said Jordan looks good. (: They couldnt get a good look at the heart so I have another ultrasound at 22 weeks so he will be bigger and they can get a better look. He's getting pretty big. She said he is 9 ounces and his heart beat was 184bpm. I got alot of pictures yesterday, and she confirmed he is a boy. Now I really want to go baby shopping! Im going to pick a really cute outfit for him to go home in, probably a shirt with shorts, sock, and mittens.

Jordan Cade.

We decided to change the first name and the spelling of the second name. I was starting to not like the first name. I really love the name Jordan Cade, so we won't be changing it anymore. Now I just need an embroidery set and a diaper bag so I can put his name on it. (: I am 17 weeks 1 day today. Last night I felt Jordan kicking for the first time! I felt it about 5 times in 30 minutes. They were really tiny kicks but I felt them! Ive been feeling a few this morning as well. I love feeling baby kick, its exciting!

Just an update.

I have an EKG appointment today. They just want to check my heart since I have diabetes I guess. I also have to make an eye appointment. Declan is doing good, still haven't felt him kick yet, hopefully soon though! Theyve been giving me appointments every 2 weeks instead of weekly, since my blood sugars have been good and they havent had to adjust my insulin. Hopefully it stays like that until atleast 30 weeks along. I have my anatomy scan/ultrasound on the 17th, Ill be 18 weeks.

 

It's a boy!

We had our 3d ultrasound today and found out its a boy! (: His name is Declan Caid. At the OB appointment his heartrate was 144bpm. We're so excited he is a boy. I cant wait to go baby shopping now!

Sick.

I'm still sick :/ Stomach bug is mostly gone but have a sore throat and cough. Got some robitussin, hopefully that will help. I dont want to be sick on Christmas Eve! 12 more days until we find out the baby's sex. I'm so excited. I really want a boy, because there aren't any in my family, other than my brother, but I think Kaylee would love a sister, I loved growing up with a sister close to my age. As long as the baby is healthy, I am happy.

 

2nd trimester.

Tomorrow is the first day of my 2nd trimester (14 weeks). Today I had an appointment, heart rate was 179bpm. They cancelled the ultrasound that was scheduled for today, and they cancelled my next appointment because my blood sugars are doing good, so we scheduled our 3D ultrasound for January 3rd, Ill be 16 weeks. Im so excited, these 15 days need to go fast! (: I also have a stomach bug right now, I don't feel like eating anything but soup. :/ Atleast Im keeping everything I do eat down, baby needs nutrients! (: Hopefully it's gone soon, I hate my stomach hurting all the time.
